LECTURES

Lecture 1: MIB briefing/After Effects basics
07.01.19 (Week 1)

For this module very first class, we were introduced and briefed to the assignments that we have to accomplish for this short semester. To start the semester, Mr. Jeffrey gave us a quick exercise to make an animated infographic about specific thing we're excited about.

Lecture 2: Brief history of information visualisation 
08.01.19 (Week 1)
Ms. Anis briefed and explained us to the history of information visualisation. Then she gave us the buttons for us to collect its information and data. 

Lecture 3: Manuel Lima's 9 Directives Manifesto
09.01.19 (Week 1)

Our third lecture was done by us giving our presentation that we prepared and discussed in a group formed by 6 people. 




Lecture 4: Saul Wurman's L.A.T.C.H
15.01.19 (Week 2)

In this class, we were discussing our second Flip Topic in a group formed last week and presented it as a lecture.

Quick Exercises - Dynamic Number
15.01.19 (Week 2)

For this quick exercise, my group got population topic. Thus, I decided to specify the topic to Singaporean resident household.

Exercise 1 - Quantifiable Charts
08.01.19 - 14.01.19 (Week 1 - Week 2)

For this exercise, we have to quantify the buttons given in class and create one information poster. The information should be presented in an illustrative visual manner. We are free to use any method as long as it fits in an A4 size paper. 

We can only use 5 colour to our colour preferences.

Exercise 2 - L.A.T.C.H (Location / Alphabet / Time / Category / Hierarchy)
15.01.19 (Week 2)

This exercise requires us to organise four Pokemon's into a silent animated video to best represent each L.A.T.C.H principles. The Information must be presented in a silent 30sec animated video.

I did research on Pokemon characters mostly from this website.

Here's some screenshots I took as a material for my animated infographic.
