INSTRUCTIONS

Progress of Interactive Web Comic

12.11.18 (Week 12)

We have to make either tunnel book or web comic for our final project. This time, we can use our own story and we also given a choice to choose a story from this link.

After exploring stories that was recommended for this project, I decided not to use all of them. Instead I decided to use a song and visualise it for this project.

The song I chose to work on this project was Close To You by The Carpenters that was sang 48 years ago. This is one of my favourite song since I am always into old music, and I think the song is interesting if invented into a comic.

I looked up to the Pinterest for many styles of illustration and use it as a preference to improve my drawing style.

After attempting many first panel, I came up with this first panel and then continue to draw the next panels.

These image above are the preferences I used to help me draw the man character.

 After drew all the panel I need for my web comic, I brought them to the Madefire and made them into parallax layer. 

That is the layers I arranged for a page in Madefire. 

After I got the whole panel into a page, I put effect on some layers and upload it. Unfortunately, I had a pretty huge problem when uploading it because after a hundred attempt, none of them succeeded. 

At first, the web told me that I had a problem with some pages because I put too many effects but still after fixing those pages, I still can not upload it. Then I tried to upload half of it and fortunately it was a succeed but not for the other half. Because of this, Mr. Hafiz and Mr. Kannan told me to screen record my work.
