Reflection
Experiences
Typography class was the class that I most look forward to before this semester was started. It was very tiring at the first class because of the long duration and too many information given at once. I learnt so many things that is new yet interesting in this class. I was always excited and also worried at the same time when I did my assignments and projects. But, mostly excited even though sometimes I had a hard time wrapping them up. Recently, the long duration of this class didn't felt so long anymore because I already started to enjoy working in the class. I think Mr. Vinod and Mr. Shamsul has a really good taste and style in typography. I learnt about which and what is good typography mostly from them. Now, I'm being thankful that sometimes they being hard on us because that taught us our lessons.
Observations
I've known that typography is quite complicated. I saw some people got surprised because they thought it was not as hard as it is at first. But, I also realised how fast they're overcome and improve in this class. That surprised me and sometimes intimidates me a lot. But that's what motivates me. As I observed things that happened in this class, the more observant I became about identifying good typography and the bad one as I did the bad one a lot. I think this class has improved our skills a lot and makes us better than what we used to be.
Findings
I find that typography is actually a fun subject to be learnt about even though it was very hard at first. It is everywhere and is always going to be there in our live. I find myself became more observant whenever I saw a text or letter. But realised that I have still so many things to be learnt about typography and overcome my lack.
