FEEDBACKS
Week 8
Mr. Vinod and Mr. Shamsul agreed that my poster looks too political. I'm not there yet to bring up the idea into the design field, also the figure I chose does not very suitable with the Troublemakers Manifesto that we worked with. He told me to look around and see what my classmates have done. After came up with new idea for key artwork, Mr. Vinod said that it is good and I can work with it.
Unfortunately I didn't really explain my idea and as I showed my key artwork trial for the 'Babi ngepet' idea, Mr. Vinod told me not to use pig as no one would ever wanted to be called pig. The typo is fine but I got to replace the image.

Week 9
Mr. Vinod suggested me to combine the mouse-deer image with a tiger since the mouse deer now looks too innocent. He said not to put the schedule using perspective as it's a bit hard to read. He added that better to put the 'design colloquium' thing normally without perspective applied.
Week 10
No feedback received, Happy Raya.
Week 11
Mr. Vinod said both my collaterals can be more creative, for the other design he said it's different from what I've been done. For the poster he said it looks sophisticated. Mr. Shamsul said it is well spaced and flowed.
He said that my first idea is not very clear. I had to make the purpose clearer on what problem to solve or improve. For my second idea he told me that it may be very hard but it is okay if I want to give it a try.
Week 12
He reminds me that the final project submission is next week thus I need to hurry.
Week 13
He said that he doesn't like the artwork but the poster is well balanced.
Week 9
I experienced a day in class without thinking about food for the first time.
Week 10
No class this week but it is just one another hectic and stressful week of my life.
Week 11
I feel a bit stressed.
Week 9
I see a lot of my classmates is quite stressed but they actually still doing great.
Week 10
I think I should read and study more.
Week 11
Maybe I can do better if I pay more attention and observe what people have been doing but I don't think it works for me as somehow it only wastes time and stressing me out. But I'll try to keep observing.
Week 9
I found that looking around class to see other's work is helping.
Week 10
I found that I need to study more.
Week 11
I found that I often got distracted by so many things.
I like history, learning poster in a historical way is very engaging for me.
Morris columns were used primarily to advertise the daily information on theatrical and musical performances in typographic posters, and thus one had to read the information on them.
This book is not putting much attention on typography, but it was a good read.
The Typography Idea Book: Inspiration From 50 Masters by Heller, Steven, Anderson, Gail
Chapter: Create Typographic Personalities (Week 8 – Week 9)
- Collage
Stylistic signifier to punk and repeats the somewhat overly familiar kidnapper's trope of making movie-prop ransom demands while ensuring their anonymity. Collage is rooted more in the modernist aesthetic that was common Cubist, Futurist, and Dadaist art.
- Talking
Talking type takes its cue from the traditional comic book, where balloons convey dialogue and splash panels convey sounds as 'WHAM!', 'BOOM!', and 'SMACK!'.

- Extreme
Filling up typographic space with ornament is no more a mistake than extreme reduction is a virtue. Effective typography depends on what goes into or comes out of the space.
- Talking
Talking type takes its cue from the traditional comic book, where balloons convey dialogue and splash panels convey sounds as 'WHAM!', 'BOOM!', and 'SMACK!'.
