Lecture 1: Hearst Mansion Exercise

28.08.18 (Week 1)

Actually I didn't attend this first class because of my late Visa approval that causes my late arrival. But I managed to work on this exercise on the next week when I got briefed directly by the lecturer about this exercise.

Because of my nescience, I didn't captured every progress I made when I worked on this exercise, even the layers, too bad.

From these photos given above, we have to apply masking, match colour, transparency, and blending modes to it to make a certain photo as a result.

Lecture 4: Recolouring Exercise

After tutored on how to recolour the old man above, we can do our own recolouring using any black and white photo. The lecturer gave us a website where we can find a black and white photo easily.

Unfortunately, I lost the original photo I used before recolouring it. Even after looking several times into the website, I still can not find the photo I used for this exercise.

Lecture 5-6: Changing One's Stripe

Lecture 7: Castle of Pyrenees

This exercise require us to recreate Rene Magritte's masterpiece which is a floating rock with castle on top of it.

Lecture 8: Dali Atomicus

For this exercise, Mr. Martin helped us to shoot some objects we need using green screen. We also used senior batch's photos since we didn't took photo of the splashing water.
